ANTIPOLO CITY, RIZAL, July 24 (PIA)— The Department of Trade and Industry-Rizal is in the process of releasing approved Pondo para sa Pagbabago at Pag-Asenso (P3) loans in line with the government efforts to alleviate the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
DTI Provincial Director Mercedes Parreño stated in an interview that the agency has already approved 45 applicants in Rizal as of July 20.
“P3 is an economic rehabilitation fund para makarecover yung mga SMEs affected by COVID-19. So as low as P 10,000 sa P3 with 0% interest with 6 months moratorium and payment of 1-2 years depende sa amount at depende sa project,” Director Parreño states.
Director Parreno adds that a total of P 1 billion to be funded by the Small Business Corporation has been allotted nationwide for the said program while P 3,009,000 has been approved for the 45 applicants in Rizal with P 2,859,000 already released by the agency.
DTI-Rizal continuously supports local entrepreneurs especially MSMEs in line with the new normal faced by the country through its various programs such as the implementation of P3 and the recent commitment signing of Kapatid Mentor ME 4thbatch mentees. The director reassures MSMEs that the agency will be in full support of their endeavors.
“We’d like to encourage the MSMEs to be open-minded kumbaga dapat they should be able to be resilient kasi masasabi natin na entrepreneurship about mindsetting. Change the mindset. Be open to new developments. Be abreast with the technology and be resilient,” concludes Director Parreño. (PIA-Rizal)
