Province’s tourism sites reopen for Biliranons, says Gov. Espina
NAVAL, Biliran, July 25 (PIA) – Governor Rogelio J. Espina of Biliran has officially announced the reopening of tourism sites of the province for the Biliranons during his guesting at the Laging Handa Network Briefing hosted by PCOO Secretary Ruperto Martin M. Andanar on Friday, July 24.
Espina said tourism sites are now allowed to accept local tourists, particularly Biliranons, on a 50 percent capacity depending on the approval of the local chief executives in their respective municipalities.
Espina added that tourism sites must be certified by the Department of Tourism.
Accepting of tourists from nearby provinces will depend on the COVID-19 situation in the region, he said.
(ldl/rsv/PIA-Biliran)
