PRC temporarily closes PICC frontline services
QUEZON CITY, July 21 (PIA) — The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has temporarily suspended the frontline services of PRC – PICC from July 20 – 24, 2020 to facilitate disinfection and conduct contact tracing among its clients.
This after six of their employees tested positive to COVID 19 through the Reverse Transcription-Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) test, PRC in a statement said.
These employees are now under strict home quarantine including those who have known exposure within them while still waiting for the results of their swab test.
“Physical modification of workspaces will also be set up to stop the possible transmission of COVID 19,” the advisory read.
In order to further protect its employees and clients, the PRC strictly implemented all necessary health protocols associated with the guidelines and directives from the Department of Health (DOH).
In addition to this, the PRC said that its services must still proceed amidst the pandemic situation and continue to implement a work-from-home arrangement for its employees to avoid the disruption of its service.
