PNP brings outreach program to Vizcaya PDLs
BAYOMBONG. Nueva Vizcaya, July 19 (PIA) – The Philippine National Police (PNP) here recently conducted an outreach activity for the persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) of the provincial jail here.
The PNP through its Police Community Relations Office (PCR) gave dental hygiene kits, gifts and free food packs to the PDL as part of its advocacy in promoting the health and wellness for sector.
The activity carried the theme: “Pinaigting na Ugandan ng Mamamayan at Pulisya Laban sa COVID-19 Pandemya”.
“The activity was part of our regional observance of the 25th Police Community Relations Month which we focused on the said advocacy for our PDLs,” Police Colonel Joseph Dela Cruz, chief of the PNP Provincial Police Office – PCR section.
Carmelo Andrada, Provincial Warden expressed gratitude to the PNP-PCR for the outreach activity which benefit their male and female PDLs.
“We are grateful for our PNP outreach program. It was a timely undertaking considering that our PDLs were also affected by the COVID-19 pandemic,” he said.(MDCT/BME/PIA 2-Nueva Vizcaya)
