Parañaque LGU temporarily closes legislative building and business office for disinfection
PARAÑAQUE CITY, July 20 (PIA) — Parañaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez temporarily shut down its Business Permits and Licensing Office and the
entire legislative building of the Parañaque City Hall Monday, July 20 for thorough disinfection.
In a notice posted on his Facebook Page, Olivarez said that the temporary closure of the public buildings will be done to make way for the disinfection and sanitation.
Earlier, City Health Office, chief Dr. Olga Z. Virtusio also ordered the disinfection of all thoffices of the Judiciary, Sanguniang Panglungsod, and the national government offices, as well as the Treasurer’s Office.
The government offices will resume its regular operations on Thursday, July 23, 2020.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the local government of Parañaque has been regularly conducting sanitation and disinfection activities all over the city as one of its measures to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in the city and protect its citizens from the virus. (PIA-NCR)
