NEDA-X recognized for HR excellence, gets nod for ISO re-certification
CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Oct 7 – The National Economic and Development Authority – Regional Office X (NEDA-X) was presented with the Bronze Award in the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) for having achieved Maturity Level II in its four HRM systems, namely, recruitment, selection and placement, learning and development, performance management, and rewards and recognition.
The award was given by the CSC – Regional Office X during the 2020 Virtual Parangal at Pasasalamat aired live via Facebook on 30 September 2020.
It is conferred to the NEDA-X for having managed and implemented its human resource management system according to documented processes, consequently achieving process-defined HRM in its four HRM systems.
Meanwhile, an external audit made on the core and support processes of the organization on 2 October 2020 via video conference resulted in ISO 9001:2015 re-certification for the regional office. The NEDA-X earned praises for its Quality Management System, with absence of nonconformities, and cited areas for outstanding leadership and competence of staff in the various enrolled processes.
With the re-certification, the NEDA-X commits to continually improve its products and services through its Quality Management System to meet the needs and exceed the expectations of its customers and stakeholders to pursue inclusive and sustainable economic growth, and just and lasting peace.
Headed by Regional Director Mylah Faye Aurora B. Cariño, the NEDA-X upholds being ISO 9001:2015 certified and under Maturity Level II, continues to be authorized to take decisive action on personnel appointments. (NEDA10)
