Manila LGU urges taxpayers to use electronic transactions via ‘Go Manila’ app
CALOOCAN CITY, June 22 (PIA) — Bureau of Permits Director Levi Facundo encouraged the public on Sunday, June 21, to use the government’s “Go Manila app” in paying their taxes.
Facundo said that through the application, the public could reduce their possible exposure to the COVID19.
“We want to cater as much as we could but at the same time, we make sure that we comply to the directive of social distancing,” Facundo said.
“That’s why we encourage our tax payers to use electronic transactions and send their applications via email,” Facundo added.
Under the GoManila App, taxpayers could pay their business and real estate taxes online in just six steps.
According to Facundo, some of the feedbacks received were praises on how the application helped them to pay their taxes easily.
Those who wish to pay their taxes online may download the GoManila App on their devices or by going to the website www.cityofmanila.ph. (Manila PIO/PIA-NCR)
