Gov. calls for synchronized GCQ guidelines
CITY OF TABUK, Kalinga, May 7 (PIA) – Gov. Ferdinand B. Tubban called on local government units (LGUs) to craft synchronized guidelines in the wake of the extended general community quarantine (GCQ) until May 15.
“Let us see to it that our individual municipal guidelines during the GCQ should knit with that of the rest to avoid unnecessary differences”, Tubban said.
At this time of the health crisis, may we be one in our prayers, plans and actions leaving no one behind, Tubban stressed.
As a province, let us pray, work and recover as one facing the unseen enemy COVID-19 for with this we shall soon overcome, he said.
He lauded the cooperation of everyone which sustained the province to be COVID-19 free thus the shift from ECQ to GCQ.
He urged everyone to continue practising the health protocols and be more patient saying,’ we just need to do it if we want our province to finally be out from the community quarantine.’
The most we can do is to stay at home, or defy lockdown protocols and allow the disease to come-in to knock us all, he warned.
Tubban assured the local government is doing all its best to see to it that the province and its people would keep their feet on the ground during this trying time of the pandemic. (JDP/LL-PIA CAR, Kalinga)
