FCF aids Vizcaya livelihood organizations
QUEZON, Nueva Vizcaya, June 23 (PIA) – The FCF Minerals Corporation has provided assistance to livelihood organizations in this town last year as part of its enterprise development and networking support program.
Ian Moller, FCF Minerals Corp. manager for sustainability said their financial assistance amounting to P.370 million generated 100 percent accomplishment and benefited 143 villagers in various barangays.
“This is part of our sustained yearly support to the livelihood organizations which have shown developments in their various undertakings in their resepctive communities. These organizations were able to help their members and their families too,” he said.
Moller said the beneficiary organizations are the Darubba Livelihood Women’s Association, Runruno Sewers Association, Runruno Indigenous Peoples Organization, Dumaliguia Women’s Association, Darubba Women’s Livelihood Association, Kinalabasa Rural Workers Association, Malilibeg Livelihood Association and the Baresbes Abot Palad Livelihood Association.
He said they were able to help the community livelihood organizations through their income generating projects such as hog fattening, inland fish farming, veggie chips production, vegetable production, loom weaving and hammock making , among others.
Moller expressed optimism on the improvement of the livelihood organizations due to their commitment, dedication and honesty in complying with their respective laws, rules and regulations.
