DOH confirms 5 new COVID-19 cases today
TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan, July 18 (PIA) – – – The Department of Health (DOH) region 2 has confirmed five new COVID-19 positive cases today which brings to the over-all total cases of 211 in the region.
Llexter Guzman, health education and promotions officer, said four of the cases are from Isabela province and one in Cagayan.
These include CV 207 a 21-year-old male from Santiago City, a Locally Stranded Individual (LSI) from Sta Rosa, Laguna. He is asymptomatic and now at the quaratine facility of the said Local Government Unit (LGU).
CV 208 is a 32-year-old male from Iguig, Cagayan. He is exposed to patients CV 186,187, and 188. He is asymptomatic and now at the LGU quarantine facility.
CV 209 is a 42-year-old male from Ramon, Isabela and Overseas Filipino Worker from Saudi Arabia. He is also asymptomatic and now at the provincial quality facility in Echague, Isabela.
CV 210 is 22-year-old female from Quirino, Isabela, a LSI from Taguig City. She experienced colds and now at the LGU quarantine facility.
CV 211 is a 61-year-old male from San Manuel, Isabela, an OFW from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He is asymptomatic and now at the provincial quarantine facility in Cordon, Isabela. Guzman said contact tracing is now being undertaken by officials concerned to determine the close contacts of the said patients. (MDCT/OTB/PIA 2-Cagayan)
