Binondominium breaks ground
CALOOCAN CITY, July 28 (PIA) — Manila City Mayor Francisco ‘Isko Moreno’ Domagoso on Thursday, July 23 led the groundbreaking ceremony of Binondominium.
Domagoso said that the 15-storey housing project worth P401 million along Delpan Street in Binondo will provide decent homes to informal settlers.
“Mahirap maging squatter. Walang kapanatagan. Ayokong danasin niyo iyon.
Domagoso said Binondominium would be able to accommodate about 126 families. Each unit has two bedrooms and an area of 40 square meters.
The Manila City government is targeting to finish the construction in a year and a half, the Mayor said.
“I wanted to give you the best.
Public housing projects for the homeless was one of Domagoso’s campaign promises when he ran for Mayor.
These projects also include Tondominium 1 and Tondominium 2, which have already broken ground in Vitas, Tondo.
(PIO Manila/PIA-NCR)
