Bayombong LGU, DTI give livelihood kits to variety store owners
BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, July 28 (PIA) The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the local government unit here recently gave livelihood kits to 16 variety store owners and operators in this town.
Henry Conel,Jr., DTI provincial director said the distributed kits ( or goods to sell) to the Sari-Sari store owners and operators were given under the agency’s Livelihood Seeding Program-Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSP-NSB).
“This was made in partnership with the local government unit through Mayor Ralph Lantion to help our Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to start their business,” he said.
Conel added that the assistance is being given to all MSMEs in the province to enable to cope up with the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic.
He said the COVID-19 pandemic has stopped the MSMEs in the province since March this year which they trying to revive through the LSP-NSB.
“We hope that with this assistance, they can bring back their businesses as source of their livelihood,” Conel further said. (MDCT/BME/PIA 2-Nueva Vizcaya)
