Bailen RHU reports town’s Zero Active Case
GEN. EMILIO AGUINALDO-BAILEN, Cavite Jul 20 (PIA) –The Rural Health Unit (RHU) here reported the town remained without an Active COVID-19 case as of yesterday.
The town reached the Zero Active case status on July 15, 2020 after Patient#5 tested negative with the RT-PCR (Real Time-Polymerase Chain Reaction) test and discharged from the De La Salle Medical Center.
The COVID-19 cumulative report as of yesterday showed 5 – Confirmed cases, 0 – Active cases, 2 – Probable cases, 95 – Suspect cases, and 71 tested negative.
On the other hand, with the loosening of the quarantine protocols and the opening of the economy, the number of infected cases in nearby towns and cities keep rising, showing that transmission is rapid.
With this, Mayor Nelia Angeles repeatedly reminds everyone not to let their guards down but be more vigilant to keep safe.
“The MGCQ status will not change the threat of the COVID-19 but rather puts us at more risk,” Mayor Angeles said.
Meanwhile, the RHU was apologetic for being behind in reporting because they make sure their announcements/posts are all true and well documented.
According to the RHU, they only post facts and other information on COVID-19 from the Provincial Health Office and the Regional Health Office. (Ruel Francisco, PIA-Cavite with reports from the FB page of Mayor Nelia Angeles)
